Glatfelters Founders HomeOver the years, like most non-profit organizations, our society has continued to engage in various fund-raising efforts. Initially, our basic fund-raising was though the operation of a stand at the now-discontinued Spring Grove Street Fair where, in addition to the sale of books, postcards and other miscellaneous items, we conducted an annual Bake Sale and sold Raffle Tickets.

Beginning in 1994, a new dimension was added with the sale of Historic Sites Models. To date, the popularity of this program has allowed us to produce 20 different models of Spring Grove Area historic buildings. Models and the years they were produced have been:

Models dated 2013 – 2017 are priced at $15. All other models are priced at $8 except for Menges Mills, which is priced at $5. Models can be purchased at the museum during our regular business hours. Those who are not local to the area can inquire about shipping costs.  Sandra Decker serves as chairperson of the Ways & Means Committee.
